Working Weekend

I will be working my two jobs this weekend...teaching my grad course, and waiting on customers at The Children's Place. In this season of life, weekends have become my work days instead of the week days, so I can't complain. I'm thankful for the extra income, and for my wonderful husband who is so supportive of it all. For those of you with fun plans this weekend, enjoy...

Oh poor you, I am sorry that you have to work weekends, I hope it is something that you thoroughly enjoy, then it doesn't seem quite so bad.

Actually just work at home to do! We watched the documentary "God Grew Tired of Us" about the Lost Boys of Sudan last evening. It was SO good! I thought of you. I guess because I know your family has such a heart for outreach to third world countries. The kids watched it also and I thought it was a good time of year, right before the holidays, to think about what is important in life. The young men who came to the states thought it was a privilege to be able to work and make money so that they could help their friends and some family that they left in Africa. They also had a purer celebration of Christmas. I rode in a cab with one of them when I was in PIttsburgh a couple years ago! That's why I rented the movie (Netflix). Hang in there!!! I am really worried about what's happening with our economy. I just got a list from my sister of all the stores that are closing.
