I Love Fall!

Just wanted to check in on this chilly, crisp, fall day and say:
(That's all!)

My sister has been hinting not ever so subtlely that I needed more photos of my older two boys on the blog. Well, Sabastian doesn't mind being the center of attention in photos, but Jonathan avoids the camera if at all possible. So, I had to be sneaky in getting a photo of our teenager, but here's what I got:

It was taken holding the camera backwards...not too bad, I guess! Since he slept the summer away, I'm not sure where the muscles are coming from, but he is lifting weights a little with Dave now to enhance them. The girls have definitely noticed our handsome son and vice versa. May I just go on the record to say that the teen years are not my favorites thus far? And I have a looong way to go to be out of them!

First Day of School Photos (LOOONG Overdue!)

The first day of school was almost a month ago now, but with all of the hulabaloo with Nathaniel, I never posted these photos. Here we are getting ready to leave the house. Benjamin started K4, Sabastian started 6th grade, and Jonathan started 9th grade...yikes! Of course, it all comes back around, as I started Kindergarten!

A Rainbow Walk - Yellow

Last night we finally went on the third installment of our Rainbow Walk--Yellow! You can check out Red and Orange on previous posts. Tonight we just walked the circle in our neighborhood. It was getting dark, so we had to get close ups of the things we saw. Benjamin has been enjoying photography ever since his summer art camp at HATCH, so most of these photos he took. I thought he did pretty well...enjoy!

I think this is a cool pic...a yellow newspaper box...

a yellow rubber ducky discarded by someone's dog, most likely...

a yellow leaf...autumn is right around the corner!

a yellow "car shape" as Benjamin put it!

the classic fire hydrant in yellow...

beautiful yellow mums...another sign of autumn!

another yellow Merchandiser box...

the yellow logo on our stroller (Nathaniel was along, too!)

and finally, more yellow flowers!

Hangin' Out!

Hanging out is just about all Nathaniel can do these days...and he does it very well! This is how I found him in the pantry the other day...he really wanted an apple juice! Only 2 1/2 more weeks to go!

Update on Nathaniel

Today we went back to the orthopedic doctor and the verdict is...four more weeks in the cast! Ugh! Thanks for your prayers, and when life settles down, I'll have some pictures from our first week of school!
